Rep. Todd Young (R-IN9) released the following statement about the president's health care reform as the arguments before the Supreme Court regarding its constitutionality wound down after three days of hearings:
"Over the last three days, we've heard very compelling arguments that suggest the President's health care reform is unconstitutional. At the core of those arguments is the notion that the federal government should not have the power to force private individuals to buy a commercial product, a notion that I think the Court should find persuasive enough to repeal the law. But regardless of their decision, Congress must be prepared to address serious problems like health care inflation with patient-centered and market-based reforms." --Rep. Todd Young (R-IN9)
