Issue Position

Not only do I believe that we need to lower taxes, I believe we need to utterly reform the tax code. As a business owner, I know how the current tax code costs money, time, and jobs. While adjustments can be made to help America be more competitive -- such as reducing the corporate tax rate -- what we truly need is to completely overhaul our tax code with a new system that is simple, fair, and pro-growth. In this regard, I favor either a Flat Tax or the consumption-based Fair Tax.
