Rokita Responds to the President's Keystone XL Decision

Statement

"At a time when the policies of bigger government, higher taxes and more spending continue to fail, the Keystone XL pipeline is a great example of the type of job growth that could occur if government would simply get out of the way. Instead, with his decision today, President Obama has chosen to block thousands of immediate jobs and seriously jeopardize our nation's energy security for a generation. This project has been studied long enough. Now was the time for action, but the President has chosen to continue to ignore American jobs and secure, affordable energy."
