Today, U.S. Senator Patty Murray released the following statement praising the Obama Administration's announcement protecting access to important contraceptive services.

"This is good news for millions of women whose access to contraceptive services under this important new benefit was being questioned. It means that more women will receive free birth control services and medical resources that experts agree will prevent unintended pregnancies. The President made the right decision by putting access and the reproductive rights of women first."
