WASHINGTON - Medicare recipients are about to start picking up the tab for some of the major changes Congress enacted in the program last year, and lawmakers are bracing for the reaction.

"The reality is insurance needs to be paid for," Boozman said, while acknowledging the increase "is a real concern" to many of his constituents.

The real culprit is "the underlying cause of medical inflation," and that's what needs to be addressed, Boozman said.
