The number one challenge facing our country is getting our economy back on its feet. Economic recovery, however, is not enough. Our economy needs renewal so we can preserve the middle class that made our country great. We need to create new jobs, and we need our small businesses, the engines of our economy, to grow and proliferate. By investing in our infrastructure, making our buildings energy-efficient, supporting the growth of small business, and training our workers for the jobs of the 21st century, we can restore greatness to our economy. I have outlined these proposals in greater detail in the "Renewing Our Economy" section of this website.
