Happy Veterans Day!

Statement

Every year I am humbled at the opportunity to honor those who make the defense of our great country their career. Our safety is a debt we can never fully repay. As our nation reflects on the brave men and women in uniform who have proudly served and protected our country on the front-lines, I also offer my prayer for those who are currently making this great sacrifice abroad. May they arrive home safely and to a country that is ready and willing to provide for their needs upon return. I hope my Republican colleagues will join me in calling for better health and employment services for those military personnel returning home hoping to invest in their neighborhoods and communities across America.
