Massive International Opposition To Bush

According to a new poll, international opposition to President Bush is at an all time high. The poll found that there was an incredibly low level of support for U.S. foreign policy. This should come as no surprise to anyone. President Bush argued during the build up to the war that we could go it alone. That decision turned out to be wrong, and the consequences for the United States were disastrous. But this is not the only time that President Bush has spurned our allies. Bush angered our allies by pulling out of such multilateral arrangements as the biological weapons convention, the International Criminal Court, the Kyoto protocol on global warming, the ABM Treaty and the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty. From day one of his presidency, Bush has made it clear to our allies that they need us more than we need them.
