Today U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-Texas), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, issued the following statement after the Senate approved the South Korea, Panama, and Colombia Free Trade Agreements:

"Today Republicans and Democrats came together behind a real jobs bill proven to spur hiring and expand the economy.

These deals will open doors to Texas exports and are welcome news to job creators who have waited too long for access to these markets."
