Following the late night passage of the Republicans job killing plan to fund emergency disaster assistance by slashing a program that's created more than 41,000 jobs, Rep. Gary Peters issued the following statement.
"I'm disappointed that Republicans decided to play politics by including more job killing cuts in an emergency disaster assistance bill," said Congressman Gary Peters. "Republicans put loyalty to the tea party ahead of the American worker. The Senate should reject this job killing bill and the House should stay in session until we have a solution that doesn't punish the American auto industry."
