Congresswoman Hochul References Buffalo Bills on House Floor During Appeal to Pass Jobs Bill

Today, Congresswoman Kathy Hochul spoke on the House floor about the need to pass a comprehensive jobs proposal that will help our small businesses grow and succeed, while putting people back to work.

In the speech, Hochul reiterated the need to pass the American Jobs Act.

"I come from a part of this country where my constituents are real down to earth -- they're common sense people," said Congresswoman Hochul. "We want a good education for our kids, we want Medicare and Social Security for our seniors, and we want the Buffalo Bills to continue their winning streak. But, more than anything, we want to get our people back to work."

"Why can't we stand together, again, and do what's right for the American people? Democrats and Republicans, shoulder to shoulder, because if we get the job done here, people out there will get jobs."
