Today Rep. Gary Peters issued this statement regarding the 10th Anniversary of September 11th.
"September 11th, 2001 brought unspeakable evil and tragedy to our shores. The lives of 3,000 innocent men, women and children were tragically and senselessly ended by a despicable act of terrorism. Ten years have passed and marking the anniversary remains painful. But we will never forget the lives that were lost, we will never stop praying and thinking of the families who still mourn their loss, and we will never forget the unity and heroism of that day."
