Maryland Congressman Chris Van Hollen, Ranking Member on the House Budget Committee, issued the following statement on the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) Mid-Session Review, released today:

"OMB's Mid-Session Review is yet another reminder that the Joint Committee must focus on job creation as we work on a blueprint to reduce the long term deficit. I look forward to working with my colleagues to develop a plan focused on boosting economic growth now and cutting the deficit in a balanced way that addresses expenditures and revenue."
