* Government will pay for almost HALF of the nation's health care spending by 2020, according to new federal spending figures released today by the trade journal Health Affairs. According to the analysis, ObamaCare will result in the federal government taking on a greater portion of the nation's health care bill, expanding the number of Americans who are on Medicaid, and subsidizing insurance for millions of Americans.

* Rural Americans are more likely to face difficulty accessing quality health care than their urban counterparts, according to a report released by the United Health Center for Health Reform and Modernization. The report found that there are only 65 primary care physicians per 100,000 rural Americans -- 40 less than the 105 per 100,000 urban and suburban Americans.

* On Tuesday, federal agents raided the stores and homes of two pharmacists living in Brooklyn, NY, after authorities discovered that their two stores had submitted approximately $23.6 million in claims to Medicare Part D. By comparison, seven major pharmacies within a mile radius, including large chain pharmacies like CVS and Rite Aid, billed approximately $23.5 million in Part D claims.
