Senator Ayotte's Statement on President's Address to the Nation

Statement

Date: July 26, 2011
Location: Washington, DC

U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), a member of the Senate Budget Committee, released this statement following the President's speech this evening:

"A speech is still not a plan. Americans are tired of divisive rhetoric and class warfare, which won't solve our fiscal crisis. After rejecting two bipartisan plans, it's time for the President to present specific reforms that will end business as usual in Washington by substantively addressing the debt limit issue, reducing spending, and putting our country on a path to balancing our budget."
