Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) released the following statement Tuesday, July 19, 2011, on H.R. 2560 - Cut, Cap, and Balance Act of 2011, after it passed the House. Congressman Guthrie voted in favor of the legislation.

"I am glad the House put a plan forward. Our national debt is now the same size as our entire economy and we must act now to cut spending, reduce our deficits, and get our economy back on track."
