Friend--
I had the opportunity to attend one of Mayor Johnny DuPree's jobs and education forums and his ideas on adding jobs along with his plans for restructuring Mississippi's education system really hit home.
I also had the opportunity to work directly with Mayor DuPree for twelve years when I served as an alderman in the city of Canton through the Mississippi Municipal League. We worked closely together on several initiatives, and this is where I witnessed Mayor DuPree's commitment to the people and to municipalities firsthand. Mayor DuPree was one of the best presidents the Mississippi Municipal League ever elected and we can expect no less when he is elected governor.
Mayor DuPree understands what it is like to struggle. He grew up in a single parent home and started working when he was eight years old to help his mother. He raised his family in Mississippi and has served Mississippi for over 24 years.
Mayor DuPree doesn't do things the easy way. He does things the right way.
Join with me in voting for Johnny DuPree on August 2nd.
