Legislation Will Forever Change The Culture of Spending in Washington
Congressman Marsha Blackburn (TN-7) today delivered the following statement in support of H.R. 2560, the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act. Debate continues on the House floor with a final vote on the legislation coming tonight.
"Whenever I am back in my district I hear one thing from constituents -- the wasteful spending needs to stop. Families are concerned about the future of our country and the future of their children and grandchildren. This legislation will forever change the culture of spending in Washington. It's a common sense solution to our nation's debt crisis that will reduce spending, balance the budget, and get our nation's economy moving again."
