Lummis Urges Wyoming Business Owners to Share Government-Imposed Regulatory Barriers to Job Creation

U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) is urging Wyoming business owners to help identify federal government regulations and other government impediments to the growth and success of their businesses.

Wyoming business owners can submit their comments by clicking "Government Holding Back Your Business?" on the Lummis.house.gov website.

"Innovation, independence and free market principles are the foundations of economic growth in America and have historically empowered America's prominence in the global economy. However, as we have seen in the past several years, an environment of uncertainty resulting from the weakening of America's traditional economic principles has America's job creators hunkering down. With national unemployment above 8 percent for 28 consecutive months, it's clear that the regulations and mandates coming out of Washington are tying the hands of job creators.

"Americans deserve an efficient and effective government that continues to foster a strong business climate. We need to cut the red tape and clear the path for job creators. That is why I am seeking the input of those who know it best: Wyoming's own entrepreneurs and business owners."
