Rep. Fleming Honored with "Defender of Economic Freedom" Award by Club for Growth

Congressman John Fleming, M.D. released the following statement today after receiving the "Defender of Economic Freedom" award by the Club for Growth in recognition of his support for economic growth and freedom in Congress. As the nation's leading free-market advocacy organization, the Club for Growth honors Members of Congress with this award who have exhibited a strong and consistent voting record of promoting economic liberty and growth.

"With unemployment now at 9.1%, we are seeing the devastating effects of government involvement in the economy," said Congressman Fleming.
