Welcome to my Blog

Welcome to my new campaign blog. I'm excited about an online dialogue with the great people of Washington State. There is certainly a lot to talk about. Much is at stake for the future of our state and our nation when voters go to the polls this November 2nd.

In my two terms as your U.S. Senator, I have listened to your concerns and ideas and I have been moved by your personal stories. I have fought hard to secure our ports and borders, invest in our schools, keep and build good-paying jobs in Washington State, protect the environment, and lower the cost of prescription drugs. Together we have had many victories, but there is more work to be done.

I look forward to reading your comments and I hope this blog serves as a true forum for ideas and discussion, so check back often. I plan to run a positive campaign based on issues as I travel across the state and meet with Washingtonians. But I will need your help.
