U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) released the following statement regarding the latest unemployment figures released by the U.S. Department of Labor:

"For more than two years, the Obama Administration has clung to the notion that borrowing and spending is the key to economic success. Today's report from the Department of Labor is a clear indicator that the Administration's policies are failing the millions of Americans who are looking for work. It's time to reverse course and work together on solutions that replace the administration's backward economic policies with job-focused, entrepreneurial economic initiatives that grow our economy, awaken our country's competitiveness in the global market, and free our nation's job creators to start hiring."
