Griffith Statement on Prime Minister Netanyahu's Address to Congress

Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement after Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed a Joint Session of Congress:
"Israel is one of our strongest allies. Ensuring a safe and secure Israel must remain a top priority of U.S. foreign policy. As Prime Minister Netanyahu made clear today, the volatile situation in the Middle East threatens the very existence of Israel. We must make certain that Israel has the ability to fight terrorism and protect its sovereignty. We don't have to export democracy to Israel or send our troops to fight their battles. The United States just needs to stand by Israel, our democratic ally."
