The Natural Resource Committee Announces a Hearing on the Navajo Generating Station

The Natural Resources Subcommittees on Indian and Alaska Native Affairs and Water and Power announces a hearing on the Navajo Generating Station (NGS).

"I am looking forward to the opportunity to discuss the Navajo Generating Station and its important impact on the region," said Congressman Paul Gosar. "NGS creates good paying jobs, provides affordable electricity and is vital to the Central Arizona Project and the long-term water security of our state."

On April 20th, Congressmen Gosar and Franks sent a joint letter to the Committee requesting a hearing on NGS and the burdensome regulations that threaten the viability of the plant. Attached is a copy of the letter.
