Today, Louisiana Congressman Bill Cassidy, M.D., released the following statement regarding the ongoing flood situation in Louisiana.
"The president has signed a federal emergency declaration that will ensure that any Louisiana residents impacted by flooding will be able to seek federal resources for clean up and rebuilding," said Cassidy. "I am working with both federal and local authorities to ensure that Louisiana has the resources it needs to deal with this crisis. I encourage all Sixth District residents to contact my office with any questions or concerns regarding this situation. My thoughts and prayers are with all those who may be impacted by this disaster."
