Monday was one of the most dredded days of the year--Income Tax Day. I am sure many of you rushed to the post office, or to the computer, in order to send in your tax returns. As many of you experienced firsthand, I continue to believe that our tax code is too complicated, burdensome and outdated. According to a new study by the Tax Foundation, Americans will pay more in taxes this year than they will spend on groceries, clothing, and shelter combined. I will continue to advocate for a tax system that is fairer, simpler, and rewards innovation and investment.
