Joining Together to Help Mississippi's Tornado Victims

Statement

As you know, Mississippi and Alabama were ravaged by a series of tornadoes yesterday and throughout the night. According to reports, tornadoes touched-down in 48 of Mississippi's eighty-two counties.

There were thousands of people affected by the devastation of the storms. Families have lost power and some have lost their homes. Most heartrending, however, are the loss of lives.

Let's join together--neither as Democrats nor Republicans--but as Mississippians to help those affected by the storm deal with this very difficult time.
