Rep. Fleming Reacts to the Heroic Operation that Killed Osama Bin Laden

Congressman John Fleming, M.D. released the following statement today after our brave Navy SEALs and intelligence community brought justice to Osama Bin Laden ending his terror rule on earth.

"Today is an important day for America. Thanks to the heroic actions of our brave Navy SEALs and intelligence community, the world is now rid of a despot that was the mastermind behind the planned terror attacks on September 11, 2001. This is a very important step, but not the final step in the war on terror; we should not rest until Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and their affiliates are thoroughly dismantled," said Congressman Fleming.

Congressman Fleming added, "This successful mission, apparently aided by critical intelligence gained from Guantanamo detainees and leveraged by our intelligence professionals, brings closure for many whose lives were shattered on that fateful September morning in 2001. We must never forget that day and never lose sight of those heroes that perished on September 11, 2001."
