Statement

"The news that the U.S. military has killed Osama Bin Laden represents a major victory in the ongoing war to protect America from violent extremists. As we learn more about this encouraging development, we must remain vigilant in that cause. We must also never forget the sacrifice so many brave troops and their families have given on behalf of all Americans. My thoughts, prayers and admiration remain with those still serving overseas, and with those who have dedicated their lives to avoiding another attack on U.S. soil."
