Today, following the announcement of a budget deal to keep the federal government running through next week, Rep. Walz released the following statement:

I am pleased that an agreement has been reached and I will vote in favor of the legislation to keep the government running. I continue to believe we can be fiscally responsible and make government more efficient. Republicans and Democrats need to work together to come up with real solutions to our fiscal policy.
