Congressman Marsha Blackburn (TN-7) made the following statement regarding the spending compromise reached tonight:

"Tonight House Republicans and Washington Democrats have come to an agreement to cut spending and keep the government open. I head home tonight encouraged by the knowledge that our armed forces will be paid. I will reserve judgement on the final deal until the details are fully disclosed."
