Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4) released the following statement regarding the deal reached to fund the federal government for the rest of the year.

"I'm pleased an agreement has been reached that will keep the federal government open. I have been disheartened by the partisanship that defined this debate, but I look forward to an honest, adult discussion moving forward about how best to reform government spending."
