Today is the one year anniversary of the government run health care bill that President Obama signed into law. Below is a statement from Rep. Gosar, as well as a video release and link to his bill that would reform health insurance companies.
Statement from Congressman Paul Gosar (AZ-01):
"One year ago, the President signed into law a bill that places an unaccountable, unelected bureaucrat between every American and his or her healthcare provider. The law also fundamentally transformed health care from a private sector, market-oriented system widely regarded as the best in the world, to a government health care system. As a Dentist, I firmly believe that this is wrong and that is exactly why I voted to repeal the bill. I believe that we must implement health care reform that is patient centered. That is why I introduced a bill that would end the anti-competitive practices of insurance companies and will also aid in tort reform. We can improve our health care system, but I believe we can do so without a bureaucrat dictating your personal health care decisions."
