Congressman David Schweikert (R-AZ) issued the following statement after the Intel Corporation announced that it would build a $5 billion chip plant in Chandler:

"Intel's announcement today is great news both for the state of Arizona and the Fifth District. I am excited for this expansion in Chandler and welcome the jobs that it will bring to our community. Intel's increased production is further proof that Arizona has continued our business-friendly tradition and we will welcome more entrepreneurs to keep putting Americans back to work."
