Today, Congressman Jim Costa announced that in response to his request, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has decided to fully deregulate Roundup Ready Alfalfa. "Last year I joined my colleagues in requesting Secretary Vilsack take this action, and I am glad that the USDA was able to make this common sense decision," Costa said. "This decision is good news for Valley agriculture, dairies and jobs".
