House Small Business Committee Adopts Rules, Oversight Plan for 112th Congress

The House Small Business Committee today officially adopted its rules and oversight plan for the 112th Congress.

"This Congress is focused on doing more with less," said Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO). "As we work together to cut spending and encourage job creation, the House Small Business Committee will be taking steps to identify and eliminate wasteful federal programs and policies that create unnecessary hurdles for entrepreneurs.

"Our approved oversight plan sets an aggressive agenda that will allow us to investigate controversial policies and regulations, while our new rules package will ensure all Committee activities and initiatives are readily available on our website for public consumption. As I've said before, we have a big job to do in the 112th Congress. However, we have assembled a great team on the Committee and I expect we will continue to work well together to address key issues affecting American small businesses."
