Graves' Reaction to Tucson Shootings

Statement

U.S. Congressman Sam Graves issued the following statement today about the shootings in Tucson.

"I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic shootings in Tucson. I am praying for Gabrielle and all the victims of this senseless violence. This was a horrifying act by a deeply disturbed young man.

As Speaker Boehner said, "an attack on one who serves is an attack on all of us.' However, as Members of Congress, we cannot let this tragedy deter us from doing our jobs. I remain committed to reaching out and serving the constituents of Missouri's Sixth District by representing their views in Washington."
