John Stephen, Republican nominee for New Hampshire Governor, today began his first radio advertisement of the campaign season. The ad, titled "Ask Yourself" highlights the differences to New Hampshire's future for younger generations presented by the two candidates for Governor.
"This radio ad lays out the different paths that our future, and our children's future, will take as a result of November's election," Stephen said. "Our state can continue down Governor Lynch's path of big spending increases, higher taxes and more government, or we can take the path that I want to travel, of lower taxes, limited government and more economic prosperity. I am very concerned that my daughters will lose the chance to enjoy the opportunities of the New Hampshire I grew up in, and that's why I'm running. I'll bring change to Concord that lives up to the New Hampshire values that make our state great."
The ad is a companion spot to Stephen's current television advertisement, called "Daughters." They both focus on contrasting Stephen's fiscal conservatism with Governor Lynch's record of increasing taxes and spending.
"We need a leader who will restore the frugality to New Hampshire that makes our state special," Stephen added. "Unfortunately, Governor Lynch has taken the state government down the road of our big spending neighbors and threatened our unique qualities. It's time to get back to being the state the spends its taxpayers' money as wisely as we spend our own."
