Issue Position

I have not supported generally increasing opportunities for gambling in the state of Minnesota with few exceptions. I did vote to put the constitutional question of a state lottery on the ballot a number of years ago to benefit the environment. I have not become convinced we Minnesotans can gamble our way out of a deficit to a stable economy. I oppose new casinos and slot machines in Minnesota bars.
