Issue Position

As a veteran police officer, I know how essential fully funding police & fire is, and I know what policies help reduce crime and what policies will only accelerate it.

* Repeal the felon early-release program
* Restore cuts to municipalities
* Ensure that funds dedicated to police & fire are actually going to those efforts, and not being used to plug budget holes elsewhere
* Work with the Department of Corrections to enhance programs that provide education and work-training to inmates, which will reduce the chances of them re-offending upon their release
