"It is clear to me that the ongoing crisis with Idaho's wolf overpopulation will not be solved without Congress passing comprehensive legislation that de-lists this predatory animal. The Clinton appointee Judge Donald W. Molloy has singlehandedly ignored the will of the elected leaders of the states, including Idaho, that had perfectly good wolf management programs in place. This must end. The Democratic establishment in Washington just does not get it. When I am elected to Congress, I will work to put into statute the ability for Western states to locally manage the population of these predators, allowing the states to protect their fast diminishing numbers of livestock in addition to deer, elk and moose impacted by our overpopulation of wolves."
