Issue Position

Gary Peters firmly supports the Jewish State of Israel's right to self-defense. He has traveled to Israel twice and seen children playing in armored playgrounds, emblematic of fear in which Israeli families must live because of the constant threat of terror attacks. Gary believes that a strong friendship with Israel is critical for Israeli and American security and the key to lasting peace in the Middle East.

Israel's security is non-negotiable and is in the vital interest of the United States. Peters has been one of our most outspoken national leaders, consistently standing with Israel even while much of the world has chosen to condemn it and ignore the facts as exemplified by the extreme bias of the Goldstone Report and the rush to judgment on the Flotilla incident.
