Suzan DelBene released the following statement in response to Congressman Reichert's opposition to the small business lend fund legislation:

"I announced my support for small business lending in my economic plan many months ago. I continue to talk to small business owners and farmers all across the district, and many are concerned about their inability to get loans. As a former business owner, I know how important credit is to help companies grow and create jobs. My opponent, who has no real-world business experience, disagrees.

"Congressman Reichert voted to help his party, not small businesses and working families. His opposition to the small business lending fund is unfortunate but not a surprise. His knowledge of small businesses comes from campaign events and a few hearings in the other Washington, not practical experience."
