Today, Dr. Paul Gosar accepted the invitation from the Arizonans for Health Care Reform - Yes on 106 campaign to debate Ann Kirkpatrick on health care.
"As a small businessman and doctor, I know personally how much President Obama's nationalized health care plan is going to hurt America's small businesses," said Dr. Paul Gosar. "Ann Kirkpatrick voted for Obamacare and finally needs to explain why she sided with the liberal policies of President Obama and Speaker Pelosi over families in Congressional District One. I look forward to debating Ann Kirkpatrick on this important issue."
Recently, the Gosar for Congress campaign launched a TV ad called "Big Spender" that highlights Ann Kirkpatrick's vote for Obamacare and how she ran out on constituents who were trying to ask questions during a town hall meeting regarding her support of nationalized health care.
The TV ad also highlights Ann Kirkpatrick's vote for President Obama's failed $787 billion stimulus package.
"Ann Kirkpatrick's record is one of supporting the agenda of President Obama and Nancy Pelosi, not the small businesses in our communities. Ann, you can continue to try and run from your record, but you can't hide anymore," said Dr. Paul Gosar.
Dr. Paul Gosar's campaign has reached out to Ann Kirkpatrick to schedule more debates when the forum allows for open discussion and dialogue, not the pre-screened tele-town halls Ann Kirkpatrick fled to after running out on her constituents in Holbrook.
"People are losing their jobs, homes and businesses and they deserve to look their candidates in the eye and ask hard questions. They don't deserve to have their questions pre-screened by the Kirkpatrick political machine," concluded Gosar.
