I oppose the privatization of Social Security. Unfortunately, my opponent -- Ann Kirkpatrick and her liberal friends from Washington, D.C. -- are trying to mislead voters about my position.

In addition to opposing the privatization of Social Security, I believe the retirement age should not be raised. We must protect benefits while keeping our agreement with seniors by not raising taxes.

It is the never-ending spending policies of Democrats that has accelerated the threat of insolvency. We must get our country's spending under control and balance the federal budget while keeping our commitment to seniors.
