The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees' union bosses started running $500,000 in attack TV ads against Republican Congressional candidate and Mark Schauer opponent Tim Walberg. Mark Schauer has been spending record sums of taxpayer dollars with his votes for Speaker Pelosi's budget, Obamacare, and the $862 billion stimulus, and walking in lock-step with the union bosses' goal to expand the ever-growing government employee union rolls. Even though Mark Schauer promised the stimulus spending would create 109,000 Michigan jobs, over 70,000 Michigan jobs have been lost and America's deficit hit a record $1.5 trillion.
"Mark Schauer's approach of digging our nation deeper into debt and borrowing from China to dramatically increase the size of government is failing Michigan families and small businesses. I support reducing the size of government, balancing the budget and lowering taxes rates to grow our economy, so I am not surprised the government employee union bosses are attacking me to prop up the campaign of big government liberal Mark Schauer," said Tim Walberg.
"Mark Schauer has mortgaged our children's future by spending trillions we do not have, but where are the 109,000 Michigan jobs Mark Schauer promised?" asked Walberg.
