I realize that all citizens must contribute to the cost of government through taxes however -
There is not enough room to list all the taxes that we pay from the state and federal income tax to hidden taxes in the telephone bill and gasoline. These taxes drain our people's resources. Government tends to think that the solution to every problem is to raise more taxes. We need to ask the question...is the taxpayer money spent worth...the return and could local government or the private sector be better able to solve the problem? Politicians need to hold taxpayer money sacred. I will do everything possible not to raise taxes.
