Issue Position

Our district and our state are fortunate to have an amazing resource in our National Lab, beautiful wild spaces, and a diverse mixture of cultures. We can use these resources to grow our economic base. Stephanie will work to leverage these resources and create the foundation to support new industry and create an environment where small business can thrive.

Stephanie will work to cut the red tape slowing small business development. More importantly, Stephanie has seen that there are resources available for small businesses; from assistance with business planning to micro loans and equity investments. New Mexico has several underutilized resources that Stephanie will focus on our district. By doing this we can leverage the opportunities being created at LANL and in the surrounding communities to grow a sustainable economy for us all.
