Free Markets are the Best Markets

The Federal government cannot intervene in the free-market without fault, as we have seen repeatedly over the years and most recently in the banking industry. The Congress created this trouble through greed and corruption and in that same spirit they attempted to correct it thus making the problems escalate.

I believe in free-market capitalism. Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. Increasing taxes on business has only proven to have a negative impact on economic growth and job creation. I believe that surest path to American economic growth is through small, limited government that controls spending, promotes growth, and does not overburden its citizens with taxes.

When I get to Washington passing bills that are beneficial to the growth of small business here in Middle Tennessee will be a focus and priority.
