Votes to Extend Unemployment Benefits

Today, Rep. Bill Foster (IL-14) released the following statement after the House passed legislation to extend emergency unemployment benefits.

"For the families in my district and across the country, unemployment remains too high. Tens of thousands of people in the 14th District have lost jobs through no fault of their own. I've talked and met with many people who are doing their best to find a new job, change careers or get additional training. I know these are tough times, and the least that I can do is stand with those who are trying so hard to provide for their families."
